My son was in 4th grade the day he really started to realize that girls and boys are just made different. I picked him up from school and he seemed really sideways. I had developed a habit of asking him to tell me what he’d learned that day instead of just asking how his day was. He usually would tell me about different subjects they were studying. This particular day, he exclaimed:
I learned that sometimes girls are just in a bad mood for NO REASON!
Ah, grasshopper…..
As the years have gone by, he has picked up little nuances about the way girls “communicate”. Today, he told me that he knows how to tell if a girl likes you. Like-likes you, you know….not likes you as a friend. So, naturally, I asked him what that clue is.
The answer? Her pupils get REALLY big when she looks at you.
Literally.
